How to prepare and store

TORTILLAS
Preparation

Separate tortillas carefully. Reheat using the methods below.

  1. Microwave – Put five or fewer tortillas on a microwavable plate and cover them with a damp paper towel. Microwave in 30-second bursts until they are warmed through. Repeat in batches of five tortillas until all your tortillas are warm

  2. Oven – Wrap a stack of five or fewer tortillas in a packet of aluminum foil and put it in a pre-heated 175° C oven for 15-20 minutes, until heated through. You can do multiple packets of five tortillas each, all at the same time.

  3. Stove – Place the tortillas in a dry (no oil), preheated skillet over medium heat and cook them for about 30 seconds on each side.

Store each heated tortilla in a folded towel or a closed container until ready to eat!

Storage

Depending on the packaging method, your tortillas can last for up to 45 days refrigerated (see info on package). Keep refrigerated. Tortillas can also be frozen for up to 6 months!

MASA
Preparation

Allow masa to come to room temperature. Mix well. Add small amounts of water to reach desired consistency.

Storage

Masa can be kept refrigerated for up to 10 days in its original vacuum-packaging and up to 6 months frozen!
